Leadership coaching for pastors

Clarity and courage for kingdom leaders.

You were trained to preach, counsel, and lead. Very few were trained to carry the weight of it. I come alongside pastors to listen and ask the honest questions that help you find clarity and direction from the Lord.

My story

I coach pastors because I know what it feels like to lead alone.

A few years ago I was ready to walk away from my ministry calling.

Overcommitment combined with unhealed wounds had led me to a place of deep discouragement. Then someone came alongside me in a coaching relationship, and everything changed. I still have hard days. But I moved from wanting to quit to having joy in what God called me to do.

I am a former senior pastor and former overseas missionary. Today I serve as an Associational Mission Strategist and coach leaders through the EMPOWER revitalization initiative.

Most pastors were trained to preach, counsel, and administrate. Very few were trained to care for themselves while doing all of it. Having someone who listened without an agenda, asked the questions I was avoiding, and helped me see what God was doing changed my life before I ever offered it to anyone else.

You cannot pour from an empty cup.Leadership starts with formation, not production. The authority you carry flows from your inner life with God.

Common questions

What to expect

What exactly is leadership coaching?

A structured, confidential relationship where I help you gain clarity about your calling, make better decisions, and lead with greater confidence. It is not counseling, consulting, or mentoring. The focus is always on you: your goals, your growth, and your next steps.

Who do you work with?

Primarily pastors and church leaders: senior pastors, associate pastors, church planters, and ministry directors. If you lead people in a ministry context and feel the weight of that responsibility, we should talk.

What does coaching cost?

There is no cost. Coaching is free to every pastor and leader I work with. The only thing I ask is your honesty and your willingness to take the next faithful step.

What if I am not sure coaching is what I need?

That is completely normal. Most people who reach out are not sure what they need. They just know something needs to change. The best next step is a free introductory call where we figure out together what would help most.

Is everything I share confidential?

Absolutely. What you share in a session stays in that session. Trust is the foundation of every coaching relationship. You should feel completely free to be honest about what is happening in your life and ministry.

Your next faithful step

If you feel the weight of leadership, let's talk.

No pressure, no pitch. Just an honest look at where you are and where you want to go.

Most sessions happen over video unless you are located in central Alabama or the surrounding area.
